When we rise, we do not avoid the landscape of our difficulties. We simply view them from a necessary distance. From above, the pattern emerges—the seemingly chaotic arrangement of obstacles reveals itself as a constellation of growth.
The seagull does not consider the physics of its flight. It surrenders to the current of air that already knows where to carry it.
We navigate chaos by engaging the energetic currents that run through the chaos.
Does my resilience upset you?
Does my strength cause you pain?
'Cause I spread these wings wide as daybreak
despite the chains you've laid.
You may trap my feet in shallow waters,
You may scatter obstacles before me,
You may block my way with broken promises,
But still, like morning mist, I'll rise—
Without apology.
Without permission.
